It doesn't matter whether the Royals win or lose...

...but if you get a chance to be on the jumbotron that really counts!

We got ahold of some tickets through Darren's work to a Royal's baseball game this weekend. We went Saturday to watch them play against the Baltimore Orioles. The weather was perfect and it was a fun night. But the highlight of the night was when Sydney, Brad and Scott were caught dancing on the Jumbotron. I thought all 3 of them were going to have a heart attack they were so excited! (I think I even heard one of them say that they are pretty famous now.) Of course, we didn't take our camera in, because we thought we probably wouldn't need it. Darn it! The Royals lost, but we were rooting for both teams anyway since we lived near Baltimore for a while before we moved here! We enjoyed the excitement of the game, the crowd and music, and spending $20 on a box of popcorn, 1 cotton candy and 1 drink!

Welcome Spring!!

The biggest snow of the season!! Its almost April for crying out loud! But, it made for a lot of fun--we played outside for an hour and a half--the snow was sticky and perfect for Bob the snowman and a nice snowball fight.

Fun Spring Break At Grandma and Grandpa Boyack's

We made last minute plans to visit grandma and grandpa Boyack over spring break. We love them! We had a great visit with lots of fun times--it certainly went too quickly (except for the driving part!). Thanks grandma and grandpa--we love you!!

The Love Of Grandma and Grandpa

What grandmas and grandpas do best!

Visit To The Haymores!

We had a chance to pop over the the Haymores while we were out east. These are some of our dearest friends. Bret is serving as a doctor over in Iraq for six months so we didn't get to see him--although we did see a life sized poster of him in his army fatigues prominently displayed in the dining room as a reminder to their youngest what daddy looks like! We appreciate Bret and all those who serve our country! We pray Heavenly Father brings him home safe soon. We wish we all lived closer but until then--these choice visits remind us of what life is all about.

Hiking Pictures Along the Appalachian Trail!

It was a little cold today but in the short little time we spent along the Appalachian Trail we found some pretty fun things to do! This and the following two posts capture our fun time.

More Appalachian Trail Fun!

This was a fun find and made for a few silly shots!! We found a little outhouse along the Appalachian Trail! Grandpa and Brad just couldn't hold it any longer (their silliness that is as opposed to other unmentionable things). Much to their chagrin, the paint can inside the outhouse that houses the important papers to finish the job was empty--I'd hate to be a hiker in that situation!

Woody's Home!!

We went for a hike with Grandma and Grandpa along the Appalachian Trail. We came across this little hole in the tree--it was obviously made by a woodpecker but was abandoned. It was just high enough to be out of reach but still accessible with a little hoist from your buddy. We had fun taking turns looking in the hole. Ever hugged a tree before?--its harder than it looks. We got a dollar bill out and wrote our email on it along with message that said if you find this dollar bill email us and let us know. We stuffed it in the hole for the next curious family to find. We haven't got any emails yet. Oh well, maybe next time we go visit grandma and grandpa we can go check on it and see if its still there! This was fun!
